Bessie Morrow

Age 86, of Indianapolis, IN. passed away on January 18, 2017. Bessie was born in Monticello, KY. On March 11, 1930. On July 19, 1949 she married Estill Morrow who preceded her in death. Bessie grew up on a farm in Monticello, Kentucky, the youngest of 12 children. She moved to Indianapolis when she was 20. For many years she was a housewife. In later years she worked for RCA, from which she later retired. Bessie enjoyed quilting, cooking, gardening, and canning. Her favorite times were spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her 5 children, Ken (Karen) Morrow, Shelia Jackson, Tricia (Bob) Jordan, Diana (Mike) Snow, and Jeanette (Chris) Hoff; sister, Adell Ramsey; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5p.m. – 8p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Indianapolis, IN. 46222. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11a.m. Bessie will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery following the funeral service.
