Bertie E. Jeffries, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away July 6,2017. She was born November 21, 1933 inReynolds, IN the daughter of the late John and Mable (Grugel) Taylor. She was a member of the Irvington Seventh-DayAdventist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother andgreat-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her twinbrother Paul Taylor.
Bertie is survived by her husband, S.L. Jeffries; sons, William“Bill” Jeffries (Susan) and Michael Jeffries; grandchildren, Jason, Jenniferand Brandon (Leah); 4 great-grandchildren and her sister Thelma McPike.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 10, 2017at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis,IN 46229. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM,Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Irvington Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2101 S.Franklin Rd, Indianapolis, IN. Burialwill be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
