Bertha Neufeld

Bertha Neufeld, 97, Indianapolis, passed away November 26, 2013. She is survived by her younger sister, Rose Rathaus, two nieces, Ellen Pogos, Ina (Mike) Whitman, great-niece, Rachel Whitman, and great-nephew, Michael Whitman. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Lipa, and her parents, Vladimir and Fania Zelman. She was born in Russia, and came to the United States in 1962. She loved to travel and made an occupation of it as a travel agent. She loved the ocean and swam in the Pacific when she resided in Santa Monica. Enjoying exercise, she had a passion for dancing. Funeral services will be held Saturday at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North at 2 pm, with visitation beginning at 1 pm. Sincerely, -Your friends at Flanner and Buchanan
