Bernard "Nick" Nickolich,
85, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born on Sunday, August 4, 1929 to the late Michael and Rose Nickolich.
Bernard was retired from the U. S. Army, having served for twenty-one years, and achieving the rank of Sargent Major. He was happily married to Marie (Harada) for sixty-two years. They lived in many places around the world, finally settling in Indianapolis.
Bernard is preceded in death by his siblings, Stanley, Katherine, Evangeline (Lena) and two young sisters. He is survived by his wife, Marie; his three sons; David (Karen) Nickolich, Daniel (Robert McCue) Nickolich, and Edward (Ruth) Nickolich; his grandchildren, Jennifer (James Daniel) Reskevich, Michael Nickolich, Elizabeth Nickolich, Kirk Alford, Alan (Elizabeth) Alford; and two great-grandchildren, Aidan Alford and Caelen Alford; and brother, Melvin (Georgia) Nickolich.
