Ben was born early on the morning of April 21st, 1984 in a cabin tucked in the Black Hills of Peidmont, South Dakota, the son of Philip Scholl and Stephany Scholl. A 2002 graduate of Pike High School, Benjamin worked as an arborist. Benjamin will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends will remember his vivacious, outgoing spirit and ready smile. His family will remember him for his generous gentle heart, quick wit, humor, imagination, and solid-heart warming hugs. Ben spent his childhood exploring the world with his best friend and brother Noah. Where Noah went Ben followed, they built forts, climbed trees, dreamed, and imagined together. Ben enjoyed outdoor activities including, fishing, camping, and soccer. He loved music and had a keen fashion sense and individual style. Ben was outgoing and was always up for anything. He was an avid Green Bay Packers, Colts (as long as they were not playing each other) and Pacers fan. He found great joy in children and shared their adventurous playful spirit. He was a devoted uncle and godparent. Ben loved, the way that we are meant to love one another, with faithfulness and compassion. A note tucked inside his Bible reads, "A thousand miles seems pretty far, but I'd walk to you if I had no other way." He was a constant friend, loving son and brother. Benjamin will be laid to rest with his Oma and Opa in Bailey's Harbor, Wisconsin. Visitation and memorial services will be held at College Park Church in Indianapolis Indiana.
