Becky J. Bogue, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana, surrounded by the love of her oldest son and daughter. Born on November 28, 1951, in Indianapolis, she lived a life full of love, caring, and an unwavering dedication to her family.
Becky is remembered for her nurturing spirit and her deep love for her children—her proudest accomplishment. She leaves behind her cherished children: Stephanie Abner, Brian Abner, Paul Bogue, Destini Bogue, and Noah Bogue. Her wonderful grandchildren Ronnie and Alexis. She also held a special place for her brothers and sisters, with whom she shared many beautiful moments throughout her life.
Her interests were as vibrant as her personality. Becky found joy in playing games and home improvement; she was always working on a project to show the pride she had in her home. Becky had a particular fondness for the beach, especially Marco Island, where she lived and created lasting memories. She also had much love for her dear Emmy, her best fur baby, who brought her comfort and companionship.
Becky was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Bogue, as well as her parents, Harvey and Doris McAtee, her brothers David McAtee and Bill McAtee and her sweet pup Emmy.
A visitation honoring Becky's life will be held on May 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service commencing at 3:00 PM. Both services will take place at Washington Park East, located at 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
Becky J. Bogue’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered not only for her loving kindness but also for the beautiful legacy she leaves behind in her children and the countless lives she touched.
