Blanche Beatrice "Bea" Spurgeon July 5, 1913 to October 17, 2011 Bea was born in French Lick, Indiana the last of eight children to Winfield Scott and Catherine May Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ralph Bishop Spurgeon. Bea was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed golf, gardening and family. She is survived by her son, Francis Terrell (wife Sue) of Elkhart, Granddaughter, Kim Charles (husband Mike) of Indianapolis, Grandson, Michael Terrell (wife Julie) of Indianapolis, Grandson, Thomas Terrell (wife Beth) of Elkhart, six great-grandsons, three great granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter. Bea was closely involved in all their lives and the central figure of her family. She spent the last years of her life at Saint Augustine's Home for the Aged surrounded by many friends, loving sisters and caregivers. There will be a brief service at Saint Augustine's on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 3:00 pm with an hour calling beforehand beginning at 2:00 pm.
