Barbara Watkins

Barbara Deloris Ann Watkins was called home to be with the Lord, April 1, 2013. Born in Winchester, Indiana on November 18, 1940, Barbara was the first born child of our parents, Charles Clifford and Ula Birdie Watkins. Barbara lived most of her life with Dad and Mom in Winchester. As a child Barbara attended Morton elementary school in Winchester. After her illness, she attended Joseph Moore school, in Richmond, IN and later worked at the Jay County Rehabilitation Center in Portland, In, where she won numerous awards for her work. Barbara is survived by one son Thomas Dale Watkins of Sanford, FL, and seven siblings; Mary Hyland of Sanford, FL, Evelyn Gill, William Watkins both of Indianapolis, IN, Charles Watkins of Newark, DE, Bert Watkins of Long Beach, CA, Rebekah Baldwin of Spanaway, WA and George Watkins of Irving, TX. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46229. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
