Barbara Hawke Velonis

Barbara Hawke Velonis, 79, daughter of Donald and Betty Hawke. Attended John Herron Art School, graduated B.S. from Indiana University. She was an Art teacher for a number of years in various local schools. She was active in many neighborhood associations, political groups, and church groups. Barbara is survived by her doting husband Chris, her two daughters Julia A. Degan and Katherine L. BeMiller (son-in-law Ryan), and four grandchildren, Andrew, Alyssa, Chloe Sophia, and Lucy Hope.
