Barbara Sublett

Barbara June Sublett, 87, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Friday, August 17, 2012. Barbara was born January 4, 1925 to Edna and Harry Mathews. She married Joseph Donald Sublett, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her 4 children, sons Michael (Theresa), James (Karol), and John (Alondra), daughter Michele Childs, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Barbara was a long time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She retired from St. Vincent Hospital. She loved volunteering and gave 25 years of service to St Vincent's Hospital, the Red Cross Blood Center, and the St. Vincent Breast Center. Calling will be Monday, August 20, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with calling 1 hour prior. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
