Barbara Rominger

Barbara J. Rominger, 75, Indianapolis, passed away May 4, 2015. Born February 15, 1940, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Roy E. and Anna C. (Ray) Moulden. Barbara received her bachelor's degree from Franklin College and married Harold Rominger on June 14, 1963. Barbara's career in teaching included the American School of London, St. Richard's Episcopal School and thirty years teaching first grade at Park Tudor School. She retired in 2008 and actively sought to be of service to the community. She was a member of Meridian Street United Methodist Church, Assistance League of Indianapolis, and the Stansfield Circle. Barbara enjoyed meeting new friends through her various memberships, bible studies, and book clubs, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. She is survived by a daughter, Kristen Bullock; daughter-in-law, Mary McGonagle; and four grandchildren, Hannah and Alec Bullock, and Aidan and Charlie Rominger. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Harold, son, Mark Rominger and a son-in-law, Robert Bullock. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Meridian Street United Methodist Church, 5500 North Meridian Street. Visitation will follow the service from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the parlor at the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Assistance League of Indianapolis.
