Barbara P. Gard-Baron

Barbara P. Gard-Baron, 89, passed away on March 24th after courageously fighting cancer. She was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and grew up in Buena Vista, Virginia. She graduated with a business management degree from the University of Texas. Her life was very full as she always said "she thought the world was hers to play in" She ended life as Board Chairman of her own business, Western Newspaper Publishing Co., Inc. She is a Trustee for the Paxton House Historical Society, a long standing member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Indianapolis, and a Columbian Society member of the Columbia Club for 45 years. She will be missed deeply by her friends and is survived by her husband and constant companion, Gary Baron.
