Barbara Joan Howard

Barbara Joan Howard 66 of Indianapolis, IN passed away December 12, 2011. She was born on October 24, 1945 in Indianapolis the daughter of the late Leonard and June L. (Peters) Parks. Barbara had worked in the Marion County Voters Registration Office and was a member of Belmont Ave. Evangelical United Brethren Church and the American Legion Aux. Barbara was an animal lover and an avid fan of the Colts. Barbara is survived by her husband, Carl Howard; 2 sons, Harland (Beth) Howard and Carl (Renee) Howard II; daughter, Lorraine (Jason) Handlon; 7 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and 2 brothers, Leonard L. and David A. Parks. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 17th at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 on Friday, December 16th at the funeral center, the family has suggested that their family and friends wear their favorite Colts gear to the visitation.
