Barbara Jean Goad

Barbara Goad went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

Barbara is preceded in death by parents Everett and Bessie Stinson, siblings Vestel (Emma Jean) Stinson, Estel (Zella) Stinson, Garvis Stinson, Naomi (Neal) Ison.

Survived by her husband of 66 years Wayne Dick Goad, daughter and son in law Bonny and Richard Thomas, grandsons Richie (Karen) Thomas, Jeremy (Lauren) Thomas, Matthew (Jenifer) Thomas, great grandchildren:  Zane, Grace, Caleb, Addison, Madelyn, Emily, Derek.

Barbara was born on January 4, 1935 to Everett and Bessie Stinson.  She attended Washington High School in Indianapolis.  Barbara attended Cosmetology school and worked as a hair stylist for 10 years.   She spent 6 years as a school cook for Chapel Hill Christian School in Indianapolis.  She would spend the rest of her career as a homemaker.

Barbara enjoyed knitting blankets, painting ceramics, reading, camping, and fishing.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Barbara sang in the choir all her life and loved the Lord with all her heart.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 10 am to 1 pm with services at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
