It is with great sorrow, we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Glover on July 24, 2023. She was our loving and supportive mother, grandmother, sister and loyal friend to all whom she befriended.
Barbara was the third child of eleven children, born April 4, 1936 in Fairfield AL to James Monroe Glover Sr. And Verbena Mushatt Glover. Barbara grew up and attended school in Cumberland, KY. In 1960 Barbara moved to Indianapolis, In and began to make Indianapolis her home. Barbara was a homemaker all her life. Barbara loved being around family and traveling with her children and extended family. Barbara lived life to the fullest.
Barbara Glover is survived by her children, Chester Lawrence Glover Sr., Marcus Anthony Glover, Regina Mae Arnwine (Elvis Arnwine), Terrance Dewayne Glover, Kevin Lamar Glover and Erika Glover. Six grandchildren: Keith Glover (Amy Glover), Nicole Glover, Mirna Glover, Carlton Arnwine (Tiffany Arnwine), Chase Arnwine, Marla Copley (Austin Copley). Eight great grandchildren: Peyton Glover, Parker Britto, Angeline Copley, Mariam Copley, Caleb Glover, Carter Rowe, Archer Copley, Cayden Arnwine. Brothers and sisters: Harold Glover Sr., Carlton Glover, Mary Moore ( Donald Moore) and Joann Bradley and a host of nieces and nephews.
Barbara will reunite with her parents James and Verbena Glover, sisters and brothers Carolyn Sallier, Bettye Jo Glover, Bobby Glover, James Monroe Glover Jr. and grandson Chester Lawrence Glover Jr.
