Barbara Jean 'Bobbe' Little Jacobs

Barbara Jean "Bobbe" Jacobs, 84, of Brownsburg, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013. She was born on October 12, 1929 in Indianapolis to Leonard and Myrtle Irene (Plunkett) Little. Bobbe graduated from Shortridge High School and worked as an administrative assistant at Allison Transmission. Later in life she worked as a Realtor for Graves Realty. Prior to her illness she enjoyed golfing, especially at Eagle Creek Golf Course, and was an avid bowler. Bobbe attended Calvary United Methodist Church and was active in the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Sharri (Mike) Jeffers; grandchildren, Heather (Jim) Armstrong, Kristen Weidman, Kasi Jeffers and Kori Jeffers; great-granddaughter, Alana Armstrong. Bobbe is also survived by her brother, James Dwight Little. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wayne Little; husband, Audry Jacobs, Jr., and her dog, Rascal. Funeral services will be on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 2pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the services, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Washington Park North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
