Barbara J. Knight

Barbara J. Knight 75 of Indianapolis passed away May 25, 2011. She was born November 16, 1935 in Rochester, IN to Harley and Marie Greathouse. She was a homemaker, worked at Western Electric for several years, was a cook at Wayne Township Schools and a member of the Fleming Garden Christian Church. She is survived by her husband of 58 years J. B. Knight, a son David Knight and his wife Barb, a daughter Theresa Lambdin and her companion Herb Ficklin, grandchildren: Brandon, Nikki, Kyle, Melissa, Jamie and Zack and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Visitation will be Friday may 27 from 4-8 PM in the Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Floral Park. The funeral will be Saturday May 28 at 11 AM in the funeral center. Memorial Contributions may be made to the IU Simon Cancer Center.
