Barbara J. Higdon

Barbara J. Higdon 79, of Treasure Island, FL; formerly of Greenwood, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Hospice House Woodside. She was born in Indianapolis. She served as Treasurer of the Treasure Island Action Club. She is survived by her husband, Paul; son, Alan; two daughters, Paula Baker and Sherry Hizer; along with nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by brother, Richard Fowler; son, William Higdon. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street.
