Barbara D. Freund Clark

Barbara D. Freund Clark 87 of Avon, Indiana passed away unexpectedly October 2, 2023.  She was born on November 29, 1935, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Wade Stiles and Fern Stiles.  Barbara served as a Custodian for the Decatur Township School Systems for several years.  She was a faithful member of the Church by the Side of The Road and she and her husband enjoyed attending and participating in the activities there.  Barbara enjoyed going to the movies with her grandchildren, she had a collection of stuffed bears, she enjoyed going shopping, watching NASCAR races on TV, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family.  She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.  Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, John L. Clark, her sons, Richard Freund, Brian Freund, her 7 grandchildren, her 11 great grandchildren, her 1 great-great grandchild, her sister-in-law, Jane Freund Stiles, and her brother-in-law, Robert Clark.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Freund, Sr., a great granddaughter, Ellie Kay Freund, and her 2 brothers, Ralph Stiles, and Robert Stiles.  Memorial contributions may be made to her church, The Church by the Side of the Road 10323 East County Road 100 South Avon, Indiana 46123.
