Barbara Jean Estridge

Barbara Jean Estridge, 93, passed from this earth to her “mansion in heaven” on November 23, 2024. Barbara’s cherished husband, Thomas Estridge, preceded her in death in 2014.

Lifelong residents of Indianapolis, Barbara and Tom also resided in Pensacola, Florida, for 20 years before returning to Indianapolis following his retirement. Their marriage was blessed with four children and numerous dear friends and family. Barbara encouraged and warmed many hearts with her gifts of creativity and hospitality. Both Barbara and Tom loved the Lord, and faithfully taught God’s Word, exhorting family and friends with the Biblical truth, “Give thanks in all circumstances.”

Barbara is survived by her children: Margaret (The Late Robert) Kiesle, Karen (Warren) Patitz, Thomas (Joy) Estridge, and Robert (Ronda) Estridge; eleven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two half-siblings: Skip Lanham of Florida, and Samilee Latham of Florida.
