Barbara Cadick December 30, 1933 – October 14, 2026
Barbara Cadick, 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Barbara made people feel welcome, remembered, and cared for.
She shared 72 years of marriage with Raymond F. “Bunny” Cadick, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Nancy Erbrich Cadick.
Barbara treasured time with family, whether celebrating birthdays and holidays, gathering around the pool, or spending summers at the cottage. Her grandchildren remember carefully peeled apples, favorite treats, trips to the movies, and quiet moments on the pool swing. Her gentle voice, thoughtful cards, and remarkable memory made even the smallest moments meaningful.
Among her favorite working years were those spent at the Fall Creek Little League concession stand and General Cinema Castleton IV, V, and VI, where she enjoyed the children, conversations, and friendships.
She is survived by her son, Rob Cadick; daughter-in-law, LeighAnn; Rob’s life partner and soon-to-be wife, Julie Nash; grandchildren, Chrissy Cinfel, Becca, Ben, and Jake; six great-grandchildren, with another on the way; and sister-in-law and cherished sister in spirit, Louise Foster.
Even when she needed care herself, Barbara still asked what she could do for someone else. Her family will remember her as their storybook grandmother, whose love was felt in the little things she did every day.
