Barbara Ann Bishop

Barbara Ann Bishop, 69, of Carmel, passed away on November 8, 2015.
Born on November 22, 1945 to the late Robert D. and Mildred Applegate in Indianapolis, IN. Barb grew up in Carmel and graduated from Carmel High School. She went on to work as an executive secretary for the General Manager at WTHR for over 15 years. Barb loved the Lord and her family with all her heart, including her dog Brody. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, boating, being outdoors, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Barb is survived by her husband James Wilson Bishop, daughter Kim Hardacre (John), son, Michael Yager, sister, Lisa J. Applegate, grandchildren, Josiah, Abby, Anna, and Joely. She is preceded in death by her sister Brenda Rydberg.
A visitation for Barbara will take place Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan - Carmel with a memorial service Wednesday November 11, 2015 10:00am at College Park Church 2606 W. 96th Street, Indianapolis.
