Barbara A. Jordan Murphy

84, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on October 16, 2020 in Indianapolis.  Barbara was born on July 5, 1936 in Bedford, Indiana to the late Charles Jordan and Gladys (William) Sallee.  She was the owner of Murphy’s Grocery and Gifts for twenty years.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.  She enjoyed art classes and writing poetry.  She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Cleve “Dave” Murphy; sister, Dorothy Tarter and brother, Charles “Snooky” Jordan.  She is survived by nieces, Julie Meister, Stacie Faus and Diane Denney and nephews, Jim, David, Larry and Mark Tarter, Charlie, Gary, Michael and Billy Jordan.  Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 from noon till 2 pm with a funeral service at 2 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
