AynnRae Bower (Mimi), born September 9, 1951, in Beaver, Pennsylvania to the late Robert and Wilma Buckley, passed away on April 19, 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Beth (Paul) Kane, son, Christopher Renner, grandchildren, Sam and Callie McGinnis and John and Jackie Kane. She is survived by brothers, Robert (Shirley) Buckley, Donald Buckley and Scott Buckley and sister, Joanne Mengel and sisters-in-law, Janice (Paul) Gootee, Julie Brown, Joyce (Rich) Smith, Jackie (Brent) Hofman, and Jennifer (Keith) Cheraso and brothers-in law, Jim (Judy) Bower and Jeff (Mary) Bower, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her adored pet companion, Pearl.   She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bower, her parents, Wilma Buckley and Robert Buckley, her brother, James Buckley and brother-in-law, David Mengel.

AynnRae will be remembered for her generosity, hospitality, resiliency and ever-present smile. She took delight in searching for treasures, especially for decorating her home. She found peace on or near the water and loved sharing her homes with family and her lifelong collection of friends; always prepared with an overstocked pantry filled with every kind of sweet and salty treat. When she wasn’t traveling, shopping or baking (memorable trays of Christmas cookies and candies), she was gardening.  She was Sam and Callie’s greatest fan, and Mimi devoted to her family and friends. She was always up for an adventure and never met a dog she didn’t love.

Donations in memory of AynnRae can be made to The Humane Society of Hamilton County,10501 Hague Rd, Fishers, IN 46038.

Celebration of Life will be held June 1, 2024, at her Indianapolis home.  The Celebration will begin at 3 PM and shared remarks will begin at 5 PM.  Please reach out to Paul Kane if you need the address and/or directions.  There will be another held later in Beaver PA.
