Arvina Josephine Fuller

December 28, 1923 — January 24, 2013

Arvina Josephine Fuller 89, of Indianapolis, in her own words "was born to my wonderful parents, Louis and Anna Haboush on December 28th, 1923". Arvina after living a very full and energetic life passed early January 24, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Arvina is survived by her brother Alfred Haboush, as well as several stepchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Clifford Fuller, as well as her 3 of her 4 brothers, Edward, her twin Arvine and Carl, and her sister, Lillian. As part of Arvina's early years she attended Little Flower Catholic School and St. Mary's Academy. She was employed in 1942 as part of the World War II effort at Lukas-Harold with the Navy Avionics Team for 20 years. You may know Lukas-Harold as Naval Avionics which is now Raytheon. Later she worked at Indiana National Bank, H.P. Wasson Credit Office, was a book keeper at Fraico Drug now Rite Aid and finished her career working with Aunt Mary at "Mary's Shoppe" on East 10th street. She was very active in many social, civic and church ladies societies. Arvina and several ladies originated the Navy's Women's Club, was a Member of Little Flower Ladies Alter Society, volunteered at Community East Hospital, and was a Member of Red Hat Organization in North Vernon Indiana, the Red Hat Momma's of Indianapolis and a Member of NARFE. In her free time, she enjoyed many outdoor activities with Cliff. You could find her and Cliff on any given nice summer day in Mt. Vernon, fishing, boating, camping in their RV with their dog Mitzi or riding the motorcycle. She was a great hostess, and their bar in the basement was always a social past time that she and Cliff shared with their friends and family. As part of the great joy she had for life as well as the fun loving nature she exuded, you could always hear after a meal: if you said you were full, she said she was "Fuller", which is the kind of life she lived, "Fuller".
