Arthur R. Gibson Sr.

Arthur Richard Gibson Sr., 88, formerly of The Villages, Florida and The Plains, Ohio, passed away February 11, 2023.  He was born November 24, 1934, in Frazeysburg, Ohio, the son of the late Max and Blanche (Adrian) Gibson.  He married Natalie Ross on June 12th, 1960.  She preceded him in passing on November 30, 2022.

Arthur graduated from Ohio University with his Bachelor of Science degree.  Following graduation he joined the staff at the university, to where he would stay until his retirement at the Director of Housing.  He was an avid reader and had a soft spot for rescuing his beloved canines providing them with a warm, safe, and loving home.

He is survived by his two children, Jennifer Gibson (Tommy Westminster) and Rick Gibson (Erin Gibson).
