Arthur Lyman Roddy

Arthur Lyman Roddy, age 68, passed away on July 21, 2021, surrounded by love.  A lifetime resident of Indianapolis, Art graduated from North Central High School in 1971 and later attended Indiana Wesleyan University.  Art worked in the auto industry and later owned and operated A to Z Delivery, Inc. Art was an avid tennis player and loved the game.  He was a sports car enthusiast and he and his wife took many road trips with the Porsche Club.  He married his high school sweetheart and best friend, and they shared a blessed life together.  He spent the last two months of his short life sitting on the front porch with his wife enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.  He is survived by his immediate family of his wife Rebecca; mother Yvonne; brother George III; cousin Christopher; nephew George IV; and cats Lightning and Laken.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 10-12pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd W Dr. A funeral service will follow at 12pm.

His wife thanks the staff at Compassus for their kindness and compassion.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society in his name.  Rest in eternal peace, Art.  We love you and you will remain in our hearts forever.
