Arthur 'Ken' Porter

Arthur "Ken" Porter 51, of Indianapolis, passed away September 28, 2013. He was born November 25, 1961 in Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Porter. Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Porter; mother, Janice Porter; and brother, William "Randy" Porter. He was a graduate of Tech High School where he played tennis and played bassoon in the orchestra. He was also a graduate of Lincoln Tech and Ivy Tech. Ken was employed by Navistar for over 10 years. He enjoyed motorcycles and working on cars. Ken loved animals, playing tennis, skiing, and working with machinery. Ken was an organ recipient and is now an organ donor, something that meant a lot to him. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 12- 2 PM followed by a service at 2:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street.
