Arlis 'Joe' Landers

Arlis "Joe" Landers 73, of Indianapolis passed away on July 27, 201. He was born on November 29, 1940 in Oxford, Arkansas to Hobart and Edyth Landers. Joe was a member of Heather Hills Baptist Church where he actively served as a deacon. He will be greatly missed. Joe is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Landers; Daughter, Johnna Higgins; Grandsons, Joey Shafer, Joshua Schildknecht, Jacob Higgins; 2 great-grandchildren; Siblings, Carolyn Cline, Jerry Landers and Johnny Landers. Visitation will be held on July 30, 2014 from 11am- 1pm, at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, with a celebration of life service beginning at 1pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heather Hills Baptist Church.
