Arlene Lindsay Hussung

Arlene Lindsay Hussung, 77, of Whitestown, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. She was born in Pennington Gap, Virginia, on December 19/20, 1948, to Inez Carter and Robert Lindsay. Arlene graduated from Sheridan High School and went on to dedicate 40 years of service to Dart Controls, where she served as Director of Purchasing before retiring.

Arlene married the love of her life, Richard Allen Hussung, on February 14, 1981. She cherished time with her family and was truly born to be a grandma, pouring her love into her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arlene enjoyed traveling and walking the beach whenever she had the chance. She also loved spending time in her yard, planting flowers, and feeding the birds. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed reading, a glass of wine, and watching Hallmark movies.

Arlene is survived by her siblings, Kathy Hill (Bob) of Harrisburg, Gary Lindsay (Carolyn) of Sheridan, Jessica Laughlin (Terry) of Sebring, and Janet Hale of Noblesville; her children, Steven Reeves of Warsaw and Stephanie Fritz (Kent) of Kempton; and four stepchildren. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brad Gilliam (Shannon) of Plainfield, Morgan Turley of Michigantown, Josh Hussung (Cassie) of Lebanon, Ben Hussung (Alison) of Lebanon, Nicole Swanke (Jerod) of Frankfort, Danielle Gick (Jacob) of Darlington, Colin Barnett (Chalice) of Lebanon, Ryan Burns (Abby) of Knox, Tyler Burns (Hannah) of Whitestown, Jagger Busenbarrick of Cicero, Brenda Reeves, and Christina Reeves; along with 24 great-grandchildren and many other beloved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Inez and Jesse Clark; her husband, Richard Allen Hussung; her brothers, Bobby and Stan Lindsay; and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Hussung.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 6, 2026, for visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Flanner Buchanan – Zionsville, 105 W. Pine Street, Zionsville, IN 46077.
