Archyp Faryna

Archyp Faryna 93, of Indianapolis, passed away May 8, 2014. He was born December 11, 1920 in Borsuki, Ukraine to the late Nikon and Eforsinia (Shvets) Faryna. Archyp arrived in the U.S. on August 7, 1951. He is survived by his son, Taras(Barbara)Faryna, daughter, Maria(Tom) Polston; three granddaughters, Kim(Vincent) Perkins, Stacey(Scott) Beers, and Tara(Shawn) Baker; seven great grandchildren, Seth, Casey, Corey, Brock, Brandon, Carsyn, Adilyn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tatiana Faryna in 2010. Archyp was a retired baker. He was employed by William H. Block Co., Lincoln Hotel, Columbia Club, Taylor's Bakery, and Rosalyn Bakery. Archyp enjoyed fishing and "tinkering" in his back yard. He also played the violin. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E.
