Archie Keith Walters

Archie Keith Walters, 81, of Indianapolis, IN passed August 11, 2013. He was born June 11, 1932 in Indianapolis to James R. and Francis Brown Walters. Keith was an educator for nearly 30 years, the former principal at Lynwood Elementary School and former Indianapolis City County Council Member. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, a son John Walters and a brother James Walters. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Florence Lazo Walters, 3 sons; Brian Walters, Alan Walters and Blaine (Julia) Walters, daughter-in-law Debbie Walters, grandchildren; Clayton, Jessica and Annabelle Walters, Dylan Randall, Luke, Michaela, Christiana and Noa Bunting. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 AM at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8PM at the funeral center. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Upper Room Church.
