Apryl L. Sutton, a beloved figure in the hearts of many, left this world on August 8, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on July 25, 1974, in Indianapolis, she was a radiant light who touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
In her 32 years at CVS as an Inventory Clerk, Apryl exemplified dedication and commitment, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and perseverance. A proud graduate of Warren Central High School, Class of '92, she embraced life with unwavering spirit and determination. She was not only a devoted employee but also a loving mother, wife, daughter, and friend who fought valiantly against her illness until the very end.
Apryl was a woman of many interests, including her love of travel and the color purple, which symbolized her vibrant personality. She found joy in her relationships and was a friendly, caring individual who made everyone feel special. Her bond with her family was her proudest accomplishment; she cherished the moments spent with them and created lasting memories filled with laughter and love.
She attended Mt. Comfort Church, where her faith provided her comfort and strength throughout her life. Apryl's nurturing spirit will forever be remembered, along with her gentle smile that could light up a room.
Apryl is survived by her wonderful husband, Jimmy Sutton; her children, Josee (Dane Reid) King, Ethan Sutton, Jace Sutton, Alaina Sutton, Bella Sutton, and Jimmy Sutton Jr., Sierra (Jack) Brown; her loving mother, Vicky Ruhl; her stepfather, John Ruhl; her brothers, Donald King Jr. and Todd (Cassie) Shireman; and her precious grandchildren, Lily and Luna.
She is preceded in death by her father, Donald King Sr., and her stepmother, Carolyn King.
Apryl L. Sutton will be greatly missed by her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. A visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan-Memorial Park, located at 9350 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN, on August 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on August 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, leading into the funeral service at 12:00 PM, which will conclude at 1:00 PM.
Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones, serving as a reminder of the incredible love, resilience, and warmth she brought to the world.
