Aolele Ioane Tupea (64) of Indianapolis, Indiana had passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025.
She was born on July 18, 1961 to Falei’u Toelēi’u, Leleiatoa and Valo Ioane (both deceased) in Pago Pago, American Samoa.
Aolele lived a life filled with love, resilience and generosity. She was known for her kindness, humor, strength, faithfulness, and a heart to serve in every aspect of her life.
She met the love of her life, Vito Saunoa Tupea, at Lealā Beach Resort in American Samoa. They were married on October 01, 1993. Their journey together was built on love, patience and forgiveness - qualities that carried them through every season of life. Aolele devoted herself to her family and took immense pride in her children, and especially in her precious grandbabies who brought her endless joy.
Before her illness, Aolele loved spending her days cooking, cleaning and visiting her family. Caring for others was her passion and she expressed that in every meals and every act of service.
Aolele's warmth, wisdom and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
She is survived by her children: Johnathan Ioane, Malia Fatu, Elisapeta Valo Tupea and Vito Nicholas Tupea. Her grandchildren: (Jaymin Hall, Jayse Hall, Joshua Tupea and Elena Tupea) and is proceeded in death by both her parents ( Leleiatoa and Valo Ioane) and son Joshua Tupea.
The funeral service will be on the 18th and 19th of December '25. It will be held at the F. Buchanan Washington East Park Cemetery.
