Antoinette Jordan

Antoinette "Toni" H. Jordan, 84, longtime Indianapolis resident, passed away May 21, 2012. She was born to the late Carl A. and Marcella (Bosse) Heldt in Evansville, Indiana on the 4th of July, 1927. She married her husband of 60 years, Paul R. Jordan, on August 30, 1952. Toni was a secretary for American United Life Insurance Company, retiring in 1992. She had a beautiful voice, and sang with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. She was also an accomplished poet. Toni was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Zionsville, where she sang in the choir for many years. Toni will be greatly missed by those who survive her: husband Paul; children Lisa J. Durr (Bill) and Scott Jordan; grandchildren Leah, Eric, and Robert. She was preceded in death by brothers Carl and Jack Heldt. Services will be Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, Zionsville. Visitation will be there from 11 a.m. until time of service.
