Anthony (Tony) P. Rogers left us unexpectedly on December 23, 2014, at the age of 54 due to sudden cardiac arrest. He was born in Akron, Ohio, but lived the majority of his life in Indianapolis. He graduated from Scecina High School and attended IUPUI where he played baseball for the Jaguars. Tony got his real estate license at the age of 19 to help defray college expenses. After college he worked a short while with Pat Ryan & Associates, an automotive insurance underwriting company. In 1990 he left corporate America and began his successful career in real estate. Since then, he continued to buy, sell, build, renovate, manage and own multiple residential complexes, commercial office building and rental properties. Tony was the Broker/Owner of Century 21 Diversified Realty for the past 20 years. Tony touched the lives of everyone he knew. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Calling will be held on Sunday December 28, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Geist 7855 Cork Road Indianapolis 46236 beginning at 4 pm to 8 pm with a Trisagion Prayer Service at 7:30 pm. On Monday there will be one additional hour of calling at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery in the Chapel 9001 Haverstick Road Indianapolis 46240 from 10 am to 11 am followed by the Funeral Service at 11 am. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Becky and, his three children, Tony Jr., Zach and Lizzy; his sister Renee Weddle and his mother Elizabeth Rogers.
