Anthony Robert Lasich, M.D.

Dr. Anthony “Tony” Robert Lasich, age 89, of Indianapolis, passed suddenly at his home on December 16, 2017. Tony was born on December 24, 1927 in Canada. Tony graduated from McGill University School of Medicine in Montreal and Indiana University Law School.  He practiced orthopedic medicine in Indianapolis for 45 years until his retirement. Following his retirement, Tony spent many hours enjoying Eagle Creek Park with his wife and beloved dogs, Jake and Allie.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose (Zamic) Lasich, as well as his brothers John and Frank Lasich. He is survived by and will be forever loved by his wife of 35 years, Mary (Russell) Lasich; daughters Susan of Helena, MT; Beth of Raleigh, NC, Deborah (Mark) Harris of Chesapeake, VA; sons Robert (Carrie) of Scottsdale, AZ, Jack of Indianapolis and Matthew (Kimberly) Miller of Indianapolis. He also was generously blessed with seven greatly loved grandchildren (Emma, Olivia, Jackson, Austin, Andrew, Jensen, and Cameron).

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering Friday, December 22 from 4 to 7 PM with a time to share memories of Tony at 6 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Zionsville, 105 W.
