Annetta Kay Patterson, 59, left this world too soon, on May 25th, 2025.
Annetta was born December 10th, 1965, in Switzerland County, Indiana to parents Everett and Wanda (Turner) Chase.
She grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Arsenal Tech High School.
Annetta was a very hard worker. She graduated with her cosmetology license as a young woman and enjoyed working as a hairdresser for many years. She owned and operated her own lawn care and snow removal service, and later, worked as a bank teller for Kemba Credit Union.
Annetta’s faith was always paramount to her life. She was a valued member of the Speedway Baptist church for several years.
Annetta was a loving, vibrant woman who never knew a stranger. She had a huge heart, and even when she was enduring her own struggles, she was always thinking of ways to support others. A proud participant in Casting for Recovery and Breast Cancer Walks, she and her family were very involved in charities and causes close to her heart. Annetta loved being outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and camping, and was always the first in line for the tractor pulls at the fair. Music brought Annetta much joy, especially concerts. She loved seeing her favorites Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, and of course, Garth Brooks. Annetta adored her big family and took her role as Nana very seriously.
She is survived by her children Richie (Krystal) Marsh and Amanda (TC) Mayer; grandchildren Emilynn, Jackson, Kai, and Connor; siblings Margaret Patterson, Barbara Hall, Anna Wessell, Russell Chase, and Everett Chase Jr.; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Bobby Chase.
Visitation will be Saturday May 31st, from 11-1pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Her funeral will begin at 1pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
