Anne Freeland

Anne Freeland, 75, Indianapolis, passed away June 22, 2015. She was born on July 27, 1939, in Indianapolis, to the late Robert Earl and Alleen (Peelle) Ridpath. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Lowell Parker Freeland, whom she married June 24, 1984; step-son, Michael (Diane) Freeland; three grandchildren, Alison, Nick, and Meghan; two brothers, Jack (Alice) Ridpath and Mark (Tamara) Ridpath; three sisters-in-law, Sue Freeland, Ann Freeland Allen, and Mary Jane Sutherland; and several nieces and nephews. Anne graduated from Shortridge High School and attended Butler University. She was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed playing piano and tennis. Anne owned her own interior decorating business. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and belonged to the Sweet Adeline's – White River Sound Chapter, and the Indiana Garden Club. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple, 1305 E. Broad Ripple Avenue. Services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery following service.
