Annabell West

Annabell West of Indianapolis died peacefully on July 25, 2018 at the age of 96 surrounded by her loving family.

Annabell was born March 11, 1922 in Cadiz, Indiana. She later moved to Indianapolis with her family. She was a previous member of the Lockerbie Square United Methodist Church until it’s closing. In her free time, she enjoyed breakfast with her family at Mann’s Restaurant, bingo, and going to the casino. She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed.

Annabell is survived by her children Patricia Ann Edens, William Edward West (Darlene), Leona M. Chapman, and Cecilia Kestner (Gene); 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin West, parents William Davis and Bessie Craig Briggs (William Briggs), sons-in-law Raymond Edens and Michael Wayne Chapman, brother William Davis, and sister Verna June Stamm.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 30 from 1 to 3 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 PM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Washington Park East Cemetery.
