Anna "Mary" Breedlove
83, Carmel, passed away March 6, 2013. She was born January 30, 1930, in Lafayette, the daughter of the late Fred Bernard and Lucile (Neville) Hatke. She married Louis Breedlove on September 5, 1953, and he preceded her in passing February 10, 1998.
Mary owned and operated a restaurant in West Lafayette, and she also worked at Robertson's Department Store in Elkhart. She retired in 2002 from Indiana Periodicals (Koch News) as a distribution representative.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and spending time with friends on "Mary's Porch".
Mary is survived by her children, Brian L. (Cherie) Breedlove, Brenda L. (Jim) Ottinger, and Lisa C. (Dave) Dye; grandchildren, Evan L. (Katie) Breedlove, Kelly A. Breedlove, Kyle B. Breedlove, Jordan V. Dye, Haley A. Ottinger, Eric J. Ottinger; brother, Charles Hatke; and her sister, Jean (Ed) Connon. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Hatke and Fred Hatke; and three sisters, Catherine "Kay" Keil, Frances "Tootie" Klutzke, and Irma May.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. Visitation will from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association.
