Anna Marie Louise Rutallie

Anna Marie Louise Rutallie, 77, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on October 19, 2025. She was born on May 17, 1948, to Anthony Pugliese and Elena Formisano Pugliese.

Anna Marie was a fierce Italian woman with a heart as generous as her cooking. Known for preparing enough food to feed a village, she found her greatest joy in hosting and sharing her love through every homemade meal. A proud veteran, Anna Marie honorable served in the Army during the Vietnam War before dedicating the rest of her life to caring for others as a compassionate nurse. Her love extended far beyond those related by blood, embracing many friends she chose as family. Her strong faith guided her through all seasons of life, and she remained a devout Catholic until her passing. Anna Marie’s warmth, strength, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Anna Marie was a loving mother to Stephanie (Matt) Hillers, Jaime Rutallie; and a loving sister to Antoinette (Gary) O’Donnell, Adele Cabel. She is also survived by Dana Rutallie, Eden Formisano, Jayce Rutallie, and Isiah Hillers.

She is preceded in death by her parents Anthony Pugliese and Elena Formisano Pugliese.

Visitation for Anna Marie will take place from 10:00am-12:00pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. A Catholic funeral service will take place directly afterwards from 12:00-1:00pm followed by burial with military honors at Calvary Cemetery.
