Anna Fykes 86, passed away peacefully on September 10 2026 with her niece by her bedside.
She was born in Kentucky and years later would move to Indianapolis Indiana with her family. She married Charles Fykes and moved to Illinois where they would start their business named Lockport Well and Pump.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Fykes 2009. Also, her father Ruble Howell 1983, mother Ardath Howell, nay Brown in 1997, brother Kenneth Howell, 2004 and Leroy Howell, 2014. She is survived by her Niece Peggy Andrusk (Tom).
Services will be on Thursday October 8 2026 with visitation from 4-8pm at Flanner Buchanan - Broad Ripple location. Funeral services will be Friday October 9th at 12:00pm at Flanner Buchanan - Broad Ripple and will proceed to Washington Park East Cemetery for a short graveside service.
Donations can be made in her name to the ASPCA no kill animal shelters.
