Ann Poole

Ann E. Poole of Anderson, IN, passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 91. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, on August 30, 1935, to parents, George and Anna (Katzmarek) Lorenzo.

Ann was last employed as a secretary at law firm (Sansberry, Dickman, Freeman and Builta). She was a member of the daughters of Isabella, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading mysteries and spending time with her family, neighbors, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Ann married Roy on September 11, 1954. Together they spent nearly 62 loving years together, he preceded her in passing in 2016. Children, Judith (Patrick) Murphy, Jacqueline (Wayne) Zahradnik, Joyce (Edwin) Mendez, Geoffrey (Joyce) Poole and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Poole; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 6 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gregory Poole; and siblings, Lorraine Conway, Lucille Worst, and George Lorenzo.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Ann’s honor may be made to the daughters of Isabella.

A visitation for all who knew and loved Ann to gather will be held prior to the service from 10am -11am. A funeral service will be held at 11am, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (9900 E. 191st St. Noblesville, IN 46060). Burial will take place following at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery (4180 Westfield Rd. Westfield, IN 46060).
