Ann M. Christian

Indianapolis- Ann passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at age 88. Ann is predeceased by her husband, Francis L. Christian and her brother, John Gill. She is survived by her brother, Michael Gill; her 7 children, Thomas (Suzanne) Christian, Joseph (Denise) Christian, Stephen (Diane) Christian, David (Lisa) Christian, James (Misti) Christian, Michael (Tammy) Christian, and Mary Ann (Tracy) Truax; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

After raising 7 children, Ann then returned to college and graduated from Indiana University in Indianapolis in 1983. Through the years, Ann was an active volunteer for the Altar Society, Oasis, and the Ronald McDonald House. She was formerly employed by Indiana Department of Revenue. Ann was an avid bowler, and she particularly enjoyed her extensive travels throughout the world.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 2 from 6-8 PM at the Flanner Buchanan – Speedway (2950 N High School Rd). The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered by Rev. Jason Christian, Ann’s grandson, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (520 Stevens St.) on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 9:30 AM. Burial will be at St. Malachy Catholic Cemetery, Brownsburg, IN.
