Ann Louis Love, 71, of Speedway, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 9th, 2026. Born on May 11, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ann was the beloved daughter of Edwin and Margaret Kregenbeck.
Ann devoted her career to serving others as a secretary and executive assistant in the construction industry. Throughout her professional life, she worked for Rotz Engineers and FA Wilhelm, where she was respected for her dedication, professionalism, and remarkable organizational skills.
While she was proud of her career, Ann's greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially attending their sporting events and cheering them on from the sidelines. She also found peace in reading and treasured the simple moments spent with those she loved most.
Ann had a gift for bringing people together. She was the heart behind countless family holiday gatherings and celebrations, always opening her home and making everyone feel welcome. Known for her incredible organization, family members often joked that if an event wasn't on Ann's calendar, it simply wasn't happening. More than anything, she wanted those around her to be happy, to get along, and to enjoy each other's company.
A faithful member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, Ann generously volunteered in the parish food pantry, quietly serving her community with kindness and compassion. Her gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ann is lovingly survived by her husband of many years, Lawrence ("Larry") Love; her daughter, Heather Sturgeon and her husband, Nick; her son, Kyle Love and his wife, Shannon; her grandchildren, Jada Adams and her husband Bailey, Kayla, McKenna, Karsten, and Samantha; her great-grandchildren, Autumn and Ryker; her mother, Margaret Kregenbeck; her sister, Beth Saule; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Kregenbeck, and her brother, Charles Kregenbeck.
Memorial service arrangements are scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026. Viewing from 10-12, and service immediately following. Both will be held at Flanner Buchanan, Floral Park, 425 N Holt Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46222. A private burial service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to SAR, check can be made out to Speedway Animal Rescue c/o Anna Weber, 1709 Gerrard Ave., Speedway, IN 46224.
Ann's legacy is one of love, kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family. She believed that life's greatest blessings were found in time spent together, and she worked tirelessly to create those moments for the people she loved. Her memory will live on in the traditions she created the values she instilled, and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
