Ann Hunter Metzger Busch
89 years young, passed away on April 13, 2016. She was bornJuly 7, 1926 in Chicago to Arthur and Dorothy Metzger. Ann taught in theIndianapolis Public School system at School #43, Special Education Dept., homebound students and at Riley Hospital. After retiring, she did volunteerteaching for the Indy Reads Organization.
She graduated from Shortridge H.S., attended ChristianCollege in Columbia, MS and graduated from Butler University where she laterearned her M.S.
She belonged to Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, Oak ParkGuild and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Busch, daughters;Leslie Ann Russell (Bill) and Dorothy Lynn Hawhee, grandchildren; JonathonRussell (Jenny), Hunter Hawhee, great-grandchild Jacob Russell, step-children;David Busch (Patty), Janet Fekkes, grandchildren; Daniel Busch, Toby Pearson(Derek), Josie Walker, great-grandchild Natalie Pearson, niece, Debbie Rowe andher children Justin and Adam and great-stepdaughter Alison Hawhee.
Those who knew and loved her benefitted from her everlastingkindness and generosity.
A funeral service will be held at Tabernacle PresbyterianChurch on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 11:00AM.
Visitation will be at the church from 10-11AM. In lieu of flowersmemorial contributions can be made to Tabernacle Presbyterian Church.Arrangement by Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville.
