Ann E. Curry, 75, Indianapolis, passed away June 27, 2013. She was born on July 31, 1937, the daughter of F. Irvin and Mary Rose (Teal) Merritt. Ann was a great storyteller and was a volunteer at the Crestwood Elementary School library, where she read to and tutored children. She was a strong Christian woman who was a member of Castleton Christian Church, where she was involved in various activities. Ann was also a member of the Castleton Kiwanis Club. She married Carlton E. Curry on July 3, 1957 and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Charles L. "Chuck" Curry (Cheryl) and Kimberly S. "Kim" Curry; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her brother, Frederick I. Merritt, Jr. (Glenna); and her sister, Bonnie J. Merritt. Services will be on Tuesday, July 2 at 11 AM at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Visitation will be on Monday, July 1 from 5-8 PM at the funeral center. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to Castleton Christian Church Youth Program, 7214 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN 46256.
