Anita Kathleen McClelland

64, of Indianapolis, passed away on November 14, 2016. Anita was born on May 6, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Charles Van and Rose Ida (Foster) Cook. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she worked for the traffic court #13 in Indianapolis and Nettie’s Home Preserve. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tilford “Sonny” McClelland Jr. She is survived by a son Jeremy McClelland, sisters Marilyn White, Carol Cooper, Dorothy Bruer, Nettie “Rosie” Spinks, a brother Rev. Lawrence “Bub” Cook, stepdaughter Candy Allsworth, grandchildren Aaron Taylor, Billy Reynolds, Leslie Pattrick, Darrin McClelland, Jeremy McClelland Jr., Anita Mae Rose McClelland and foster sons Randy Schmittling, Dennis Fielitz and Dale Walton. Visitation will be held Wednesday Nov. 16th from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Decatur, with services Thursday Nov. 17th at 10am at Charity Tabernacle, 2700 S. Tibbs, where she was a member.
