Anita L. Garriott

79 of Speedway, Indiana, passed away on December 11, 2023.  Anita was born on July 1, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She had worked for Deluxe Check Printing, retiring in 1999.  She had also worked for Covance, retiring in 2012.  She was a member of O.E.S. Corithan Chapter 456, Kappa Kappa Sigma-Alpha Theta Chapter.  And was Past Guardian of Jobs Daughter Bethal 56.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Pittman and husband, Clarence V. Garriott.  She is survived by her daughter, Paulette Brown; grandsons, Preston (Kelly) Stark and Victor (Haylee) Logan Brown; granddaughters, Kelsey and Maci Stark; sister, Judy Barnett; aunt, Barbara Davis and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 1 pm with visitation from 11 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Entombment will follow at Flora Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
